Skin problems? Find out what a recent client had to say

Do you struggle with skin upset like spots, acne, eczema or rosacea?

Georgina was at her wits end.

If you’ve had enough of the discomfort and embarrassment of troubling skin conditions, please get in touch.

It took just a few sessions for Georgina to recover her self-esteem and confidence not only improving her skin condition, other areas too, such as an over-reliance on fitness classes that didn’t allow her body to recuperate ( rest + recharge) and gaining clarity about her future work and life goals.

Hear what she had to say:

  1. How did you feel before you started working with me?

Before we started working together I feel like I had got to the end of my tether,
I don’t think I actually realised how much my skin's appearance was affecting me but it was really affecting my self confidence.
I feel like my diet was generally quite good but I was having quite a lot of snacks which were not so healthy around my meals.
It’s been amazing to acknowledge my childhood and life up to now and to notice the patterns between my emotions, eating habits and health. I don’t think I had previously put two and two together.

  2. What changes have you made in your life since working with me?

I have taken gluten, dairy and citrus out of my diet which seems to have had a positive effect on my skin already, I even feel like my eyes and complexion look slightly brighter.
I’ve also looked at the way I exercise - I feel as though I had become a bit of a hamster on a wheel! Instead of doing high impact workouts and weights every morning I have incorporated yoga and rest days into my weekly routine.

  3. What’s one or two of the most powerful things you learned from our sessions together?

I think the most powerful thing I have taken so far is to allow myself to relax more and dream about the future - to not stress so much about my current work situation.
It’s also been good to observe when I feel anxious and what I feel anxious about.
I am trying to recognise these feelings when they come and not let them make me nervous or stressed, to avoid a negative effect on my body.
I’ve also found it’s been good to know that although time has past since previous traumas in my life I may not have been completely over them so I’m taking note of how and when they have affected me since.

    4. What’s one or two things you’d tell your friends?

I would tell my friends about how I have realised how much my skin and my emotions and diet are linked - in fact I’ve already told a few as I’ve been super excited at seeing a change already.

I’d also say about the excersise, one of my friends I live with was already concerned about the amount of high Impact classes I was doing so I’m really proud of being able to make that positive change.

I’d previously been a bit nervous about how I’d feel about not having that huge endorphin rush at the beginning of each day. I feel really lucky that I have this time during lockdown at mums to put these things into practise before I am back to my busy life in London.
