‘Into the Quiet’ Qi Gong & Meditation Circle for Deep Winter

Winter brings shorter days and longer nights, often leading us to live out of sync with nature — waking before sunrise and eating after dark. Over time, this can leave us feeling depleted, tired, and more vulnerable to illness.

To help you restore balance, Craig and I have come together to offer a gentle pause and preparation for what’s ahead— an afternoon dedicated to slowing down and preparing for this quieter, more introspective season.

Join us for a beautiful experience of stillness and mindful movement designed to align your body and mind with the rhythm of winter. Together, we’ll explore nourishing rituals that help you conserve energy, calm the nervous system, and restore vitality.

Allow us to guide you through practices that soothe the mind, release tension, and leave you feeling deeply relaxed and replenished. As you settle into the season, you’ll cultivate inner warmth, creativity, and resilience to carry you through the colder months ahead.

What to Expect

  • We begin and end in circle with a balancing meditation — a space to tune into your needs, share openly, and release what no longer serves you

  • Qi Gong offers deep breathing to calm the nervous system, stretching to open the body's meridian channels to increase the flow of the body's natural energy with a series of slow graceful movements to cultivate lightness and harmony in both body, mind and spirit

  • Followed with a Guided visualisation, feel yourself fully let go in a safe and nurturing space, inviting in the gifts that winter brings, restoring inner peace and harmony

  • Enjoy delicious cacao bites/mango bliss balls and herb tea to finish.

Date & Time: Saturday 15 November 2-5pm

Location:    Castel Douzaine Room

Payment:       £40

What to bring: Yoga mat, Pillow, Blanket, Journal & Pen, Water

Reset & Renew with the Autumn Equinox

Rest and Renew post the Autumn Equinox on 22nd September

Hello & welcome

The strongest energetic shift of the year is approaching late September, triggering a series of physical, emotional and spiritual changes.

Jane and I would love you to join us for a heart-warming and centering yoga & meditation practice.  What have we discovered about ourselves during the Spring and Summer and what do we need to let go?

The descent into darkness encourages us to turn inwards for this contemplation and cosy up as the temperatures cool and the weather becomes perhaps, a little more inclement.

We will begin in circle with a short balancing meditation leading to a Yin Yang Yoga practice offering rest and reflection, energy and structure in preparing for winter, and finishing with a gentle guided visualisation to support you through this seasonal transition.

Jane and Sophie will help you unwind and relax, inviting a sense of calm and renewal as we welcome the coming Autumn and Winter.

Date & Time: Sunday 28 September 2-5pm

Location:    Castel Douzaine Room

Payment:       £40

What to bring:   Yoga mat, pillow, blanket, journal & pen, water
