Spring is coming: New event and top tip
Hooray! The sun has finally decided to show up properly this week and we're now getting sunsets close to 6pm. I'm feeling grateful. And phew for our Vitamin D levels hey!
Our cells are like mini solar-powered batteries so unless you've been chomping down on tons of chlorophyll aka green veggies this winter, the lack of sunshine will have taken its toll. Why? Because chlorophyll is often described as 'trapped sunlight,' providing valuable benefits for our health.
And on the theme of Spring...
Jane and I are delighted to invite you to our first collaboration of 2026 to celebrate the beginning of Spring. Join us for a nourishing afternoon of Yin Yang yoga, meditation and connection
🍃SPRING EQUINOX WORKSHOP CIRCLE 🍃
'Renew and Rise'
22 MARCH - 2-5pm
Each season brings both gifts and challenges.
What might this new season offer you?
What do you need or wish for as you take your first tentative steps into the second quarter of the year? These are the questions we will reflect upon.
What to expect
Sophie will guide you in circle, creating space to connect with yourself and others; helping you to pause, reflect and release the dark grey days of Winter.
Through seated and lying-down guided meditations, rest and reset your nervous system remembering how to simply ‘be.’ Thoughts and ideas may have been percolating through Winter and now you’re ready to plant those seeds in preparation for Summers ripeness and abundance.
Jane will take you through a practice that explores the energies of Yin Yang Yoga
Beginning with grounding, receptive Yin shapes — longer holds that invite patience, introspection, and softness. Then we’ll gradually build into a more dynamic, warming Yang flow — cultivating strength, clarity, and forward momentum. Like the season itself, we’ll move from stillness into emergence.
As the afternoon draws to a close, we invite you to sit in circle soaking up the care you’ve received with herbal tea and bliss bites before stepping out into Spring feeling replenished and ready to receive its gifts.
What you’ll take away
If self-care practices have slipped by the wayside, this is an opportunity to feel inspired again — whether through a short daily yoga or meditation practice, conscious breathing or simply writing down how you feel to clear your mind.
Taking time to fill up your own cup benefits not only you but everyone around you.
We are excited to share this seasonal pause with you.

And finally my TOP TIP
(from local kombucha brewery, Ktea)
If you love local brewery Ktea Kombucha, you don't want to miss their recent newsletter titled, 'The Art of Sipping.'
You see, along with your favourite cuppa, apple cider vinegar and lemon water - these drinks are acidic. This does not mean they are 'bad' for you as 'weak acids' as they are known, are actually very good for your gut and have an alkalising effect. But it all depends on the health of your gut because if it's out of balance then they may actually have an acidic effect which can be challenging.
In addition, as their excellent newsletter points out, these drinks can affect our tooth enamel so they have some excellent tips to counter this, for eg; swill water around your mouth afterwards.
When a business has integrity, this is what it does. It writes informative newsletters like this one and I for one am deeply appreciative. Particularly in this case as I have sensitive teeth and gums. Perhaps you do too?
Here's the link to read it in full.
Enjoy!
